    Description
Between 7 and 9 months, your baby is likely to start crawling or even climbing, opening up new opportunities for exploration. The first signs of independence are beginning to appear: they may now be able to reach for their toys on their own. These movements reflect the development of the nervous system and help improve the coordination and dexterity of their hands and fingers.

At this stage, your baby is probably grabbing everything and putting it in their mouth. This is how they explore the size, shape, and texture of objects, a key part of learning about the world around them.

It’s important to let your baby explore and play independently during these months.

Talk to them often so they can see your mouth move, as this helps them recognize sounds and begin to understand words. When you're out walking, try positioning the pushchair so your baby can see you. This encourages social interaction and connection.
