Composed and recorded during a global lull in touring, accompanying videos for the songs 'Tree Amongst Shrubs', 'Serenade of Water', and 'Sugar' compile footage from the aptly-titled Untourable Tour as the album ended up being tourable after all. The album cover features a photograph by celebrated American photographer Lynn Goldsmith, showcased originally in a 1984 collection titled A Day in the Life of Canada.

The two Sonatas for violin and piano by Gabriel Fauré - Op. 13 and Op. 108 - together with Leone Sinigaglia’s Sonata for violin and piano Op. 44 trace a musical journey spanning the transition from the nineteenth to the twentieth century. The overwhelming presence of one of Japan's leading pianists, Michie Koyama, is now available in a live recording of her memorable 40th anniversary debut performance at Suntory Hall on October 12, 2025! Fedoseyev, recorded in 2002), and this is his second recording of No. 2 after 33 years since his first recording in London in October 1992. Alexander Rudin and the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra here present two symphonies by Nikolai Myaskovsky — one of the most undiscovered composers of the 20th century. In his creative legacy, Myaskovsky equals his more famous contemporaries — Prokofiev and Shostakovich.

‘We ultimately know very little about Domenico Scarlatti,’ said Scott Ross in 1987, in an interview with Jean-Michel Damian broadcast on France Musique to mark his recording of the Neapolitan composer’s complete 555 sonatas. And what if this ‘little’ did not concern so much the musician’s biography, which we know included travelling throughout Italy during the first half of the 18th century, until he entered the service of Maria Barbara of Braganza, a Portuguese princess whom he followed to Spain, and her marriage to Ferdinand VI, and to Madrid, where Scarlatti died in 1757, at the age of seventy-one? We also know that a significant number of his 555 sonatas were never performed during his lifetime. Innovation was very much at work here. For Scott Ross, Scarlatti had become ‘overspecialised in the keyboard, in keyboard performance, and in writing for the keyboard’. What was extraordinary about him ‘was his obsession with the keyboard above all else’. And yet, what amazes us is the wide variety of instruments that emerge from Scarlatti’s keyboard.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, a deluxe 2-CD edition will be released featuring 21 bonus tracks—15 of which are previously unreleased—including b-sides, remixes, demos, and alternate versions. The album was produced by a-ha and Martin Terefe, mixed by Flood, and features backing vocals from Graham Nash. The audio has been remastered by Bill Inglot, and this release marks the album's first appearance on vinyl.

The Grateful Dead's performance on May 13, 1977, at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, is widely celebrated as a foundational part of the legendary Spring '77 tour. The evening features signature performances, including a highly praised "Scarlet Begonias" > "Fire On The Mountain" transition and the band's first-ever performance of "Jack-A-Roe". The concert was broadcast live in Chicago by local radio station WXRT, and it was later officially released in its entirety as part of the May 1977 box set.
