Beginning Programming for Dummies {Repost}

This book is pretty good for a beginner. It gives you some common knowledge about where to start and what you can do from there. It does leave some stuff open ended at times or does not go into much explanation at other times. It can leave you a little confused without looking outside this book. However, that is the purpose of this book. It is to give you a start and help you to BEGIN learning about programming.
