What's the Catch Reducing Bycatch in EU Distant Water Fisheries

This report considers the ecological, economic and livelihoods impact of the large quantities of non target fish (bycatch) caught and discarded by EU fishing fleets operating in developing countries fisheries. The EU currently has 17 agreements with developing countries allowing EU fishing vessels access to their waters. As such the EU can play a significant role in minimising bycatch. password: R20090712
