Pencil Kings - Posing Your Character

Learning to pose your characters is a sure-fire way to bring your drawings to the next level. LaurieB! will be your instructor for this series and will give you a quick refresher course on proportions before jumping into the lessons where you will learn how to bend and pose the limbs of your character.
In this series you’ll learn a really easy and effective way of drawing the torso that can be bent and twisted to fit any pose you can dream up. First you will draw the major line of action for the pose, and then by dividing up the parts of the torso (rib cage, abdomen and pelvis) you’ll be able to attach them to the line of action just like beads on a necklace. Once you have mastered this quick technique, posing the torso will be a piece of cake.
