I read this book for the first time as a beta and I believe my children thought I was nuts. I laughed so hard that I was in tears a few times. I recently reread this book after its release and found it just as entertaining and well written. I had a bit of trouble getting into the "back and forth, past to present" bit, but that was largely because I'd been reading a whole lot of 3rd person POV and writing the same at the time I beta read this… the second time, I had no trouble and thoroughly enjoyed it both times.
I loved the true to life antagonism between Riley and Christina as well as their obvious attraction and the love between them when they stripped away the distractions that were bent on squashing their relationship. I can't wait to see where this story leads.
