The 50th annual SPWLA Symposium. Transactions

On December 14 of 1959 the SPWLA was incorporated as a non-profit technical trade organization. The Articles of Incorporation and the Bylaws have been modified numerous times over the years to reflect changes in the way the Society does its business, but the mission has never changed: dissemination of formation evaluation technology.
