It's a very legible reprint of a 1929 review of small arms. The opinions are based on the times, some very oddball stuff and some good descriptions of grenades and even print of a flintlock rifle grenade. If you are a serious history buff you will like this book. If you want a coffee table style book with glossy pictures and short descriptions, then it's not the book for you.
