Atsuko Koga - Epigraphes for Flute, Cello and Harp (2025) [Official Digital Download 24/96]

We are flying through times and worlds with the new GENUIN album by Atsuko Koga (flute), Georgiy Lomakov (cello) and Marianne Le Mentec (harp): at the center of the recordings are works by Claude Debussy for flute, cello and harp, which give the nymphs, naiads and nature gods of Greek antiquity a tonal garment of the 20th century. With works by André Caplet, Claude Debussy, Tōru Takemitsu and Fuminori Tanada, the unusually composed ensemble is building a time bridge from antiquity through Impressionism to the present day, for the world premiere of Tanada's trio, which is available here in its first recording.
