I return to the Windham Hill label, today with the Jazz-Fusion pianist Scott Cossu. I had the opportunity to meet him in person, great guy and also simple.
At that time he came to my country promoting his album "Switchback", with a session guitarist Van Manakas.
From album "Islands" I can say that is the one I like, it certainly has some reminiscence of Pat Metheny's music. Somehow he gets closer by the accompaniment of session musicians that accompanying Metheny, ex. Danny Gottlieb on drums.
In short, a very varied album with beautiful pieces for piano solo and with some instrument.
