    Das preisgekrönte Greenwich Trio, bestehend aus der slowenischen Geigerin Lana Trotovšek, der kanadischen Cellistin Heather Tuach und der japanischen Pianistin Yoko Misumi, hat für sein Debüt-Album, das auch die erste Folge eines kompletten Trio Zyklus ist, die Brahms Klaviertrios Op. 36 und Op. 87 ausgewählt. Das ursprünglich als Streichsextett konzipierte Werk Op. 36 wurde von Theodor Kirchner, einem Freund von Brahms, brillant für
    Klaviertrio bearbeitet. Op. 87 zeigt den Komponisten auf dem Höhepunkt seines kompositorischen Schaffens. Die Verbindung von hochromantischer Ausrichtung, und klassischer Struktur verlangt nach Präzision, Virtuosität und Eleganz. Das Greenwich Trio hat bei europaweiten Konzerten u. a. im Amsterdamer Concertgebouw, im Londoner King's Place und beim Rheingau Musik Festival ein begeistertes Publikum gewinnen können.
