After the success of the first edition of "The Song of the Vikings", the group SKÁLD presents an enriched version of their album with two new titles in Old-Norse and three times of rock standards: The White Stripes, Pink Floyd and The Doors . Through his music, SKÁLD brings to life the poetry of the ancient scaldes who sang in their language - Old Norse - the history of the Viking peoples and gods. With instruments chosen for the occasion (shamanic drums, talharpa, jouhikko), the singers plunge the listener into a rich and evocative soundscape, and unveil the richness of Scandinavian culture.
