    Nach der Veröffentlichung ihres Albums Breakfast in America im Jahr 1979 gingen Supertramp auf Tour, um das Album zu unterstützen, und jetzt bekommen die Fans die Chance, dieses Live-Erlebnis zu genießen.

    Live in Paris '79, ein Mitschnitt der Konzerte der Band im Dezember 1979 im Pavillon de Paris, wird am 28. Februar veröffentlicht. Ausgewählte Auftritte aus den Konzerten erschienen bereits auf einem Live-Album, das 1980 veröffentlicht wurde, aber die neue Veröffentlichung bietet eine komplette Show, die aus den Aufnahmen der beiden Konzerte im Pavillon am 1. und 2. Dezember stammt.

    Auf dem Album sind Supertramp mit Klassikern wie „The Logical Song“, „Goodbye Stranger“, „Take The Long Way Home“, „Give A Little Bit“ und anderen zu hören.

    „Wenn wir auf diese Zeit zurückblicken, war es wirklich die Erfahrung unseres Lebens … die beste aller Zeiten“, erzählt Schlagzeuger Bob Siebenberg. John Helliwell, der u.a. Saxophon und Keyboards spielte, fügt hinzu: „Die Shows in Paris waren ein absoluter Höhepunkt für uns, weil man die Reaktion des Publikums spüren konnte. Man kann die Unruhe im französischen Publikum förmlich hören. Sie klingen ein bisschen verrückt!“
