With "Soap Factory" DEMORIEL close a gap in the Hildesheim music scene and deliver a good half-hour multi-faceted Thrash Metal with Death Metal and NWOBHM influences from the participation of the local scene must now be measured.
FROSTTIDE are a four-piece melodic/folk metal band formed by Joni Snoro back in 2009. Frosttide released their first EP called "Dawn of Frost" in 2010 and won the "Year’s underground act 2011" trophy at the Finnish Metal Awards. Frosttide have already played shows with KORPIKLAANI as well as festivals together with the likes of SABATON, FEAR FACTORY among other bands and released second EP "Our Journey" – again single-handedly – in 2012.The first full-lenght album called "Awakening" is coming out 30th of August via Noise Art Records! And later this year Frosttide is going to be a part of Heidenfest 2013 tour with Ensiferum, Turisas, Equilibrium and Suidakra.
Formed in 1967, Shocking Blue were an influential Dutch rock band from The Hague. Center stage to the groups popularity was lead singer Mariska Veres, whose powerful, exotic vocals transcended the group from a merely superb psychedelic rock group to something incredibly special.

The band formed in '69 and in addition to Mayos guitar playing, featured Mark Babani's drums, Lloyd Landesman's keys, the bass of Mark Polott, and voice of Bruce Scott in a dark mix of stoner hardrock and prog adventure with extended passages. Evidently two of the cuts were penned by Leslie West's brother Larry and Haystacks Balboa has been compared to Mountain and Black Sabbath but exhibit a more traditional Prog approach than either of those groups and should amuse fans of yer old-tyme Prog 'n Roll.

Sorry. No English review. Le retour de l'Etranger Pour le Festival de Radio France et Montpellier, la redécouverte de cette grande et belle partition de l'un de nos plus grand musiciens s'imposait. Synthèse entre drame sacré d'inspiration wagnérienne et de l'opéra naturaliste, L'Etranger de Vincent d'Indy est un petit chef-d'oeuvre. Son orchestration est d'une richesse et d'un raffinement remarquable, lui attirant l'enthousiasme et l'admiration de Debussy. Le livret, écrit par d'Indy lui-même, met en scène un Etranger charitable installé dans un village de pêcheur, craint par les habitants qui lui prêtent des pouvoirs occultes, et Vita, une jeune fille éprise de lui mais fiancée à un douanier au coeur dur et sec.
