Berlin based SONIC ATTACK Records signed Symphonic Power Metal Band OPERADYSE a new french band from Southern France's Montpellier. The band's debut album titled „PANDEMONIUM“ is scheduled for release through the joint-venture Sonic Attack/SPV in Europe on September 20th 2013 and in Japan through Avalon / Marquee Sept 18th, 2013.

Work of the American musician, arranger and conductor R. W. Nook Schreier (Illinois, 1913-2008), aka David Carroll. He worked mainly for the Mercury label since the mid 40's and was musical director between 1951-1960. In addition to making arrangements for many bands and artists of his time (Eddy Howard, Ray Jackson, Bob Berkey, Quincy Jones, Sarah Vaughan, Patti Page, The Platters and others), finished organizing his own studio orchestra recording exclusively with Mercury and making almost thirty discs. This album is the second youngest recorded for Mercury with a brief instrumented repertoire of music dedicated Paris.

Linda Ronstadt (Tucson, 1946) has one of the most leading and versatile voices for a wide range of musical styles lavished in his career, from his early themes folk, rock and country until the later of jazz, Latin, pop and even operetta. The repertoire of this album is selected from old musical standards, with rhythms of swing, blues and romantic ballads. It was the final installment of the jazz trilogy that Ronstadt recorded with bandleader and arranger Nelson Riddle, who died during the making of this disc. Three of the tracks were conducted by Terry Woodson.

The Brodsky Quartet here turns to the sunshine, bright colours, and deep-set passions of the South, performing Latin-inspired music for string quartet by composers who all possessed a strong connection to the ‘South’, whether it was the Mediterranean or South America.

This recording forms part of our ongoing Italian series, fronted by the conductor Gianandrea Noseda. In the series so far, we have examined the music of many prominent Italian composers of the twentieth century, such as Respighi, Wolf-Ferrari, Casella, and Dallapiccola, as well as the great nineteenth-century master, Verdi. Noseda and his Italian forces here turn to the choral works of Goffredo Petrassi, an Italian composer who, despite being a relatively late bloomer, developed into one of Italy’s most significant composers of the mid- to late twentieth century.

Long a favorite among progressive rock and pop fans in the know, Wigwam are best remembered for their 1975 album Nuclear Nightclub, which was released in Finland on Love Records and in England on Virgin Records. Led by U.K. singer-songwriter Jim Pembroke, Wigwam were the biggest band in Finland from the late '60s through most of the '70s. They reformed for a fantastic album in '92, entitled Light Ages, and now ten years after they rise again for a fantastic studio album called Titans Wheel, released in Finland on EMI / Harvest Records.
