"Chasing the Sun" is a song by British-Irish boy band The Wanted from their self-titled EP (2012). It was released as the band's third single in the United States on April 17, 2012. The Eurodance song was co-written by British singer Example. It is set to be the theme song of the 2012 film "Ice Age: Continental Drift".
The song debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart with first-week sales of 76,624 copies. The following week it fell to number ten, selling 33,992 copies.
