Andre Abujamra, eccentric Brazilian composer and singer, former leader and founder of Karnak, author of award-winning soundtracks for Brazilian cinema, achieved the extraordinary new album" Mafaro "(in Swahili: Joy), strongly inspired by his recent experience Africa.
In this CD Brazilian rhythms and sounds fuse with ethnic elements and, exceptionally, the timbre of the strings of Trio Broz, who recorded the song "Logun Ede," prayer to the goddess who protects against sadness.
