The band recorded outside Quebec for the first time when they went to England to work on the next album. "PLEASURE AND PAIN" marked the departure of Durand behind the controls for the first time. The new producer was Mark Rushent, who'd enjoyed success working with rock's new wave with The Go Go's and The Human League. Released in 1990, it struck gold with "Carry On". Two other singles were released, "Temptation" and "Inside My Heart".
