So I went to my own archives in Vancouver and went through everything there and found a copy of the original mixes, which was good enough. We couldn't remaster from the CD or anything else that's out there. I mean, the whole thing was unbelievable, man, but it worked out in the end." The "Reckless" anniversary editions are Adams' second release this year; earlier he put out "Tracks of My Years," a covers set that features one new song. Adams is currently working on a new studio album with Jeff Lynne that he plans to release in 2015.
