Chrisette Michele - Milestone (Deluxe Edition) (2016)

Grammy Award-winning artist Chrisette Michele is back to share with the world her songs of hurt, love, struggle and ultimately reaching that perfect milestone in her own life. Milestone marks the 33-year-old's fifth studio album and the first time fans have been given new music from her in three years. The album's first single, "Equal," features rapper Rick Ross and was inspired by a conversation between Chrisette and her now fiance, Doug "Biggs" Ellison, whom she thought was being extremely "arrogant" at the time, and was motivated to pick up her pen and start writing about it. Though she never quite finished putting all of her thoughts on paper, Ellison found what she wrote and sent it to Ross, someone whom she had previously collaborated with on one of his songs in 2010, "Aston Martin Music."
