To commemorate twenty-five years in the music business, Colin James is releasing his first ever live album titled, TWENTY FIVE LIVE on March 19 via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.

TWENTY FIVE LIVE was recorded on 10 November 2012 at Colin’s last night of three sold out shows at The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. The venue has a special place in Colin’s musical history as he is one of only a few artists who holds the record for the most consecutive sold-out shows at the legendary Commodore. TWENTY FIVE LIVE was co-produced and mixed by James’ long-time associate, Joe Hardy (ZZ Top, Steve Earle).

For the past twenty-five years, Colin has been a key contributor to the Canadian music landscape, encompassing rock, blues and swing genres. To celebrate his unique accomplishments, The Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry have selected Colin to be a 2013 Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame inductee. Colin will accept this honour on 21 March 2013 at the Canadian Music Week awards gala in Toronto.

Colin James is a six-time Juno Award winner taking home the “Male Vocalist of the Year” honour twice and the “Best Producer” award for his efforts with Little Big Band. He is the recipient of seventeen Maple Blues Awards between 1997 and 2013 where he was most recently awarded “Entertainer of the Year”. Colin had the privilege of performing for Queen Elizabeth II while she visited his home province, Saskatchewan in 2005.
