Dødsfall returns with their third full length, recorded at Endarker Studios in Sweden with the mighty Devo at the helm producing. 9 songs running for approximately 42 minutes, and with a new lead singer. A“Djevelens Evangelie” is fast-paced, in-your-face, melodic, emotional and simply the best work Ishtär has done thus far. It still sounds very much like the Dødsfall you might remember from previous outings, just so much better in every way imagineable. It even seems like Adramelech is hell-bent on trying to outdo Hoest (Taake) in the amount of UGHs one can put on an album, but it works like a charm.So if you want epic, melodic guitar solos and dark hymns from the devil’s gospel, “Djevelens Evangelie” is a must check out album.
