Fortíd- Völuspá Part III: Fall of the Ages (2010)

FORTÍÐ “Völuspá Part III: Fall of the Ages” is called the last and recent part of the Völuspá Trilogy. Head of the Band Eldur (also among others Curse, Pontentiam) has already after the foundation of the band FORTÍÐ a priori planned to set to music one of the most important Ásatrú literatures, the Völuspá, as a Trilogy. FORTÍÐ represent with “Fall of the Ages” seven epic Pagan-Metal-hymns. Own lyrics as well as lyrics from the Völuspá Saga were combined. The moods vary between ice-cold melody parts out of Black-Metal until hymnal Pagan-Metal Parts. With samples added an awesome nordic masterpiece was created which could not be better and more convincing transformed by an Icelander.
