An off-shoot of SCHICKE, FÜHRS & FRÖHLING, the duo FÜHRS & FRÖHLING devoted themselves to exploring the more intimate and reflective aspect of the symphonic sound that the nuclear trio had been working on since its inception, back in 1975. Their sonic emphasis was divided between the bucolic acoustic sensitiveness, a light-spirited kind of symphonic rock with added touches of jazz-pop and funky, and electronic ambient music with a tender currency….
….."Ammerland" dominantly focused on acoustic guitar-based compositions, in this way providing a sort of complex pastoral prog-folk work.
