City Breaks is a calm, dark, and creative, piano-melody-based instrumental music album with a full band sound. City Breaks is mainly composed of old fragments of memorable compositions from years ago - revitalized, reapplied, and recomposed. After reflecting on past compositions that never were fully developed or finished, I found ways to use them and create a second, follow-up album to Blue13. Blue13 is mainly piano solos embellished with supporting instruments, whereas City Breaks was created with the whole "band" in mind. There are a few tracks that were fully composed in 2015 after the release of Blue13 - "Fondue Night", "Windchimes", and "One Day of Sun". Overall, the album is still very calming and great for background music or easy listening.
