In early 2015, Brisbane native Jarryd James's lean and haunting "Do You Remember" emerged seemingly from nowhere to dominate Australia's pop chart. A delicious blend of ethereal falsetto, eerie electronics and spacious minimalism, the song was co-written and produced by Joel Little (who helped define the sounds of both Lorde and Broods) and paved the way for James's debut album, Thirty One. We picked him for our 2015 New Artist Spotlight.
