John Prine - For Better, Or Worse (2016)

I love the voice of John Prine. I love the humor and beauty of the songs on this album. I am not familiar with the names of some these country singers, but I like all these songs. I love the humor in the lyrics of the song "Mental Cruelty". I love the humor in the lyrics in the song "Who's Gonna Take The Garbage Out" too. These two songs are about relationships that did not end well. I find myself chuckling when listening to these songs "Dim Lights, Thick Smoke and Loud Loud Music" is a song that puts me in a good mood. The musical arrangements of this song are really pretty. "Falling In Love Again" is a beautiful duet with Allison Krauss. Allison has such a beautiful voice. She sounds great singing along with John. "Cold Cold Heart" is another great song. I love the steel pedal guitar playing on this song. The talented Miranda Lambert performs on this song. I enjoy the harmonica playing on the song "Dreaming My Dreams with You". I also love the voice of Kathy Mattea on this song. "My Happiness" is a duet that John sings with his wife. I really like this song. It fills me with hope that I will sing a song like this to a woman some day. "For Better Or Worse" increases my appreciation for country music. This is a very entertaining album.
