Jono McCleery - Pagodes Live (2016)

Celebrating the release of his third studio album Pagodes in October 2015, British singer songwriter Jono McCleery played an intimate live gig at London's Elektrowerkz. It was a very special evening, with Jono performing solo to a a sold-out, expectant crowd. Distilling songs from Pagodes into their truest elementary form - simply acoustic guitar and vocals - it was a truly captivating performance and remarkable evening that highlighted not only Jono's exceptional talent as a songwriter, but also his prowess as a solo performer. The entire gig was recorded and will be released digitally via If Music on 26th February 2016 ahead of Jono's solo European tour.

Jono is a former member of the One Taste Collective - alongside the likes of Little Dragon, Jamie Woon, Nick Mulvey, Portico (Quartet) and Kate Tempest. He has maintained strong links with Portico, featuring on their 2015 album Living Fields and also Maribou State's debut LP Portraits. He released his third studio album Pagodes in October 2015 via If Music Records - a newly established record label by the acclaimed Soho-based independent record shop of the same name. Several years of hard work in the making, Pagodes is full of beautiful melody and futuristic production flourishes - partly attributable to the influence of Jono's friend and frequent writing partner Royce Wood Jr.
