Keiya - Hello Sun Hayee (2015)

Keiya (Marc Vrijens) was a Belgian composer and artist, specializing in making rhythmic, up beat music with African influences. Already at the age of 6 he got his first musical education at the music of Maastricht, followed by classes at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven. He played several instruments including piano, trumpet, horn, accordion and percussion. He successfully completed his musical studies at the Conservatory of Antwerp, where he also taught the principles of sound engineering. He was a drummer in various (pop) bands and thus came into regular contact with the studio world.

As a technician, musician, composer and producer, he participated in several projects under his own stage name Keiya he released a number of albums that are received. At home and abroad with rave critical His first album Sun Walker is inspired by Africa and includes fresh, rhythmic and varied songs. Modern technologies enabled him to experiment with new sound combinations which sometimes led to surprising results. "We have been using for centuries sounds and rhythms to express our emotions. Music expresses let us dance, enjoy, relax and heal."
