Kenyon Fields - Cohearance (2015)

I have a constant metamorphic medley of sounds playing in my head as I go about my day. It's a dream state …. an organic interweaving of sounds that happens autonomically, reflecting all of my influences. I am deliberately trying to capture this by weaving sounds together across genres, and allowing metamorphosis. Because I'm not seeking commercial success, I have the luxury of abandoning normal musical structure. Instead, it constantly evolves, rarely repeating, entirely unpredictable. I prefer playing with sounds, rather than playing solos, and view this music as a movie for your ears. Unlike a movie, there is no beginning nor end, but rather, fragments of experience brought sonically to life, moving constantly through different spaces and rooms, with sound that is nearly 3-D. I hope you enjoy – particularly with good headphones.
