Lilly Martin - Right Now (2015)

Lilly Martin's 3rd solo album, "Right Now", presents Blues & Soul at its best. It is a versatile collection of original compositions, including the title track “Right Here, Right Now”, as well as some wonderful interpretations of songs written by Doc Pomus, Bobby Charles, Bobby Blue Bland, The Subdudes and Delbert McClinton. The album includes an outstanding guest performance by former Tower of Power singer Ellis Hall.

Lilly Martin belongs to the most striking voices and charismatic artists on the Swiss music scene. A native New Yorker who now makes Switzerland her home, Lilly is also an increasingly recognized talent on the international stage. On her latest album, “Right Now” the reasons for her recognition are evident: Her warm vocals effortlessly deliver blues and soul with a signature style, authentic passion and a heartfelt longing.

Lilly Martin has appeared at renowned music festivals, released celebrated albums featuring her accomplished band and has also collaborated with Polo Hofer and the legendary blues artist Philipp Fankhauser. Lilly is also known for her contribution as side vocal coach on the televised program, The Voice Of Switzerland, and is an accomplished songwriter.
