Luzid - The Misleading Mirror (2015)

Every time, when I hear the sounds of Luzid, I'm kidnapped the first notes in the world of Luzid and enchants. My soul makes regularly, which manifest themselves in permanent goose bumps and small shiver through the whole body. The musical atmosphere of the band changes atmospheric, between quiet passages, evoke their filigree elaborated sounds an emotional limbo and thunderous rock with loud guitar walls that virtually compel to dance. This special sound Cocktail awakens a sweet pain that a common thread runs through the songs of the quintet and Luzid thus always makes recognizable and incomparable. Influences from the genres Post Rock, Shoegaze, and Progressive Metal supplement the over the years already solid musical concept of the quintet perfect, and make this album varied and still acts "The Misleading Mirror" as a unified whole. Luzid working on own genre boundaries, sometimes even solve them entirely and make it seem playfully, yet almost classical sounding in the tradition of good rock music.
