Max Mutzke, who was strongly influenced by the American funk of the 70s, had his musical start as a drummer of the German funk band Project 5. Mutzke had his first solo appearance on a television program in which the finalists for the Eurovision Song Contest were presented. His song "Can not Wait Until Tonight" won. ~ David Jeffries
