The band formed around 2003, around Hicham and Sylvain (guitars) and Thibault and Benjamin (vocals, drums). The group will change again after the release of her debut EP, Lost In Dark Forest in 2006. The group begins to turn more and recorded their second EP in 2008, Once Upon A Cow .It is with this formation that evolves currently Niflheim.
