Style: Indie Folk, Dream Pop, Electronic | Label: Red Ribbon Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

“Oscar & The Wolf is a young Belgian band signed to PIAS Recordings. Their music sounds like a combination of dark melancholic pop with danceable rhythms, according to singer Max Colombie.
In june 2012 their new EP ‘Summer Skin’, that was recorded in a church, was released. The year before they already put out their debut ‘Imagine Mountains’.”

After 2 wonderful EPs, Oscar & The Wolf have now finally finished their first CD: Entity, out in late April via Pias.
Together since 2010, around that elusive vocal sound, 'the otherworldy voice' of Max Colombie. Along the way, they've evolved from airy folk into a more epic sound.

First singles Princes and Undress indicate that Entity may indeed be bursting with 'hypnotising downtempo beats, rustling electronica and lingering, sensual melodies. As seductive as Sade, as surprising as David Lynch and as enchanting as Eric Satie.'

So it's high time for the Main Hall of the AB, after their jam-packed Pukkelpop Club tent, their soon sold-0ut ABClub and ABBOx or even their unique AB Live Session.

'Entity is soul, rhythm and blues for the 21st century. No Otis Redding or Nina Simone, but Sohn, James Blake, Autre Ne Veut, Rhye or How To Dress Well. Plus Oscar & The Wolf! Ultraviolet cuts through the songs on Entity, Oscar and The Wolf's debut, along the contours of their shadowy melodies. Suffering and healing. Overwhelming and searing. As of now, cosmically sound futurism is applicable: electronica full of melancholy and childlike wonder.'
