My music has been influenced by many artists and genres. When folks listen to my music for the first time I am often compared to Nick Drake among others. I try to play music that I feel and music that is inspired by both the beauty and struggles of life. Nearly every song that I wrote on the first album is in an alternate tuning of some sort which I feel allows me to be more creative and have access to sounds that I wouldn't normally find in standard tuning.
