The sole album of this great, but underrated British progressive band was released in 1975 on small Retreat Records (owned by noted producer Derek Lawrence and excellent guitarist Big Jim Sullivan). This powerful but still unknown album LP was mostly inspired by early Genesis records, but some Yes and Camel influences were also palpable. The quartet offered varied, imaginative and beautifully-arranged songs (usually lasted between 7 and 10 minutes) with excellent and quite heavy guitar parts, inventive and truly amazing keyboards phrases, very complex and busy drumming and fine vocals. This memorable will definitely appeal to all fans of creative, progressive music. This CD edition was carefully remastered from original, analogue source and sounds great!

Got this LP a few days ago. It is a pleasure to make a conclusion now - here is another progressive-rock masterpiece has been discovered here, wondering how come it so a little known. There is another tragically obscured group. I would rather call it sympho?prog with some touches of folk-prog. To get rough idea - it is wonderful mix of Genesis, Wallenstein, Strawbs and Octopus (Ger) with whimsically catchy melodies, featuring beautiful keyboards/guitar interplay and story-telling vocal. Some pop-rock elements are present as well, but they are in a form that won't disappoint prog listeners. Fans of mentioned above groups will be very pleased definitely. Five stars, no doubts! Progressively yours.
