The time was ripe for ‘Timelock’. Ruud and Julian had found the desired musical style and combined this with the talents of Bert and Rinus. They still lacked a drummer though (this was going to be an ongoing issue for the band). By then it was 1991 and the foursome went into Rinus’ studio to record new songs with the use of a handy tool: the rhythm box. In 1992 ‘Louise Brooks’ appeared and the critics were unanimously positive. As you hear them you can feel ELP and King Crimson's influences.
