There is actually no Heinz nor Herbert represented in this super cool Trio, but the Landolt brothers and the drummer Hänni do share an apartment in Zürich. The line-up with guitar, keyboards and drums leaves no doubt about how surprisingly differently and (yet?) consistently these three young musicians set about achieving their sounds. Scant attention is paid to the well-known milestones of jazz history. Acoustic and electronic sounds permeate a carpet of minimalist and microtonal music, with Industrial Jazz and Futuristic sounds emerging in their cleverly defined improvisations. The trio has its own unique sound with clear contours yet despite this has great breadth, providing a powerful influence within the contemporary Swiss scene.
