Parisian leftfield funk and soul label Heavenly Sweetness have a mission to 'spread colourful music for the soul' and they have resident crate diggers Guts & Mambo on hand to help them do just this. Having successfully released the first instalment of this comp last summer, the pair are back with the follow-up. They did not want to simply release a facsimile of the first one though, and instead sourced tracks often from places without a tropical climate whatsoever. The result is a killer collection of sunkissed gems irrespective of where they were made.
