VA - CMAA 2016 Winners (2016)

The CMAA Winners compilation returns for another year featuring the very best of Australian country music. The album is a 2CD set of the nominees for the 44thCMAA Awards (to be awarded on Saturday, 23rdJanuary 2014 in Tamworth). Featured artists include Shane Nicholson, Catherine Britt, Beccy Cole, Troy Cassar-Daley, Lee Kernaghan, Aleyce Simmonds, Ashleigh Dallas, and Dean Perrett. Being released this Friday January 8 through Universal Music Australia, the ‘CMAA: Winners 2016’ compilation will continue last years format packed with 38 songs across a double CD set. The album represents all award categories and features local artists including Shane Nicholson, Troy Cassar-Daley, Luke O’Shea, Amber Lawrence, Catherine Britt, Beccy Cole, Lee Kernaghan, Mustered Courage, Adam Eckersley Band, Aleyce Simmonds, Ashleigh Dallas, Dean Perrett and many more, representing a broad stylistic range. Roger Corbett (Vice-Chair of the CMAA) said. “The CMAA is proud to be growing its membership and support of country music in Australia. We congratulate every artist named as a finalist. The Golden Guitar Awards celebrate the very best that Australian country music has to offer.” The CMAA will once again partner with the Tamworth Regional Council in presenting the 44th Country Music Awards of Australia in Tamworth. The awards night is the pinnacle event of the city’s iconic country music festival.
