The Finnish band Viikate is often provided with the folk-rock label. Anyone hear the new album of the gegündeten in Kouvola 1996 quartet, certainly does not think of folk rock. What is there to hear there is melodic metal - folk influences are difficult to discern. "Kymijoen Lautturit" yet convinced by his energy and the typical Finnish flair. All texts are in Finnish. From the first piece of the band powert going huge - breathers are rare. Viikate offer but, despite tremendous aggressiveness, certainly not mindless Brutal Metal.
