This was the ninth album released by Brazilian singer Astrud Gilberto (Bahia, 1940). Her voice sample, as in other works, warm, soft and intimate, becoming also delicate, comfortable and even homely. Perhaps her voice has not been highlighted enough on the instrumentation and here has not that Latin stamp of his great bossa recordings. Astrud feels comfortable with these serene and intimate pop songs, singing messages of love and nostalgia accompanied by strings.
