B.P. Convention - Zeleno raspolozenje (1975/2016)

Uvodu u “Balkansku uspavanku” kojom počinje “Zeleno raspoloženje” (1975.) nije teško zamisliti kao temu nekog špageti vesterna, dok se glavni dio skladbe koju potpisuje stalni član Conventiona Damir Dičić poigrava s temom u stilu balkanskog folklora. Slijedi “Mali smiješak na njezin način”, sanjiva i nježna Boškova balada. "Mali dječak s velikim srcem" ritma karakterističnog za Balkan, predivne teme, odlične improvizacije. Naslovnu "Zeleno raspoloženje" kad ju poslušate znat ćete koje je to raspoloženje a da nije "blue". Uz "Keka kolo" noge same zaigraju. "Stompin' At The Savoy" Sampsonov standard a opet uz snažno Boškovo obilježje. Na kraju "Mladi skladatelj" obrada Mozarta uz koju nam je žao što taj album završava.

The introduction to the "Balkan Lullaby" starting with "Green Mood" (1975) is not hard to imagine as a theme for spaghetti movie, while the main part of the song signed by a permanent member of the Convention Damir Dičić plays with the theme of Balkan folklore. Here is a "Little Smile in Her Way", a dreamy and gentle Bošk ballad. "A Small Boy With A Big Heart" a rhythm characteristic of the Balkans, beautiful themes, great improvisations. The title "Green Mood" when you listen to it will know what the green mood is, if it is not "blue". With the "Keko kolo" the legs are playing. "Stompin 'At The Savoy" Sampson's standard and again with a strong Boško character. In the end, "Young Composer" Mozart theme, and we are sorry that this album ends.

Croatian jazz band formed in 1970 by Boško Petrović, active through 1970s in former Yugoslavia. “B. P. Convention” performed jazz with folk influences. Petrović began to play violin at the age of seven passing on to the accordion, drums and finally the vibraphone. As a violinist he founded his first combo group in 1950. In 1970, Petrović organized a group of talented young musicians and formed the B.P. Convention, which toured Austria, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, India, Japan, the Soviet Union and the United States.
