Penultimate album of 15 ones that launched by strings orchestra of musician, violinist and conductor Herman Clebanoff (Chicago, 1917-2004) for the Mercury label. The two discs held at 'Strings afire' -the first with international repertoire and this with Latin themes- were very prominent in his production. His arrangements are generally very successful activating in them at times the role of some of his musicians (he usually plays his violin with mature and woody tone that subjugates). This is an album full of "Latin lounge" atmosphere rather than Spanish music.Track list:
1. Malagueña
2. Bésame mucho
3. Ritual fire dance (Danza ritual del fuego)
4. The flea (La pulga)
5. La paloma
6. Souvenir of México
7. Latin fire
8. Jalousie (Celos)
9. Ay, ay, ay
10. Miserlou
11. Samba de la Cumparsita
12. El torero (El Vito)
