CLOSTERKELLER, fronted by the often controversial public figure of singer Anja Orthodox (a.k.a. Anja Najman), is one of the leading lights on the Polish Rock scene. Musically the band are entrenched in the Gothic Rock category but the rich, deep vocal timbre of Orthodox and the employment of Electro and Pop sounds sets the band apart.The opening 1990 album 'Purple' sported a band line up comprising Anja Orthodox, guitarist Jacek Skirucha, bass guitarist Tomasz Wolfgang Grochowalski, keyboard player Przemyslaw Guryn and drummer Andrzej Szymanczak.
