Work of the American musician, arranger and conductor R. W. Nook Schreier (Illinois, 1913-2008), aka David Carroll. He worked mainly for the Mercury label since the mid 40's and was musical director between 1951-1960. In addition to making arrangements for many bands and artists of his time (Eddy Howard, Ray Jackson, Bob Berkey, Quincy Jones, Sarah Vaughan, Patti Page, The Platters and others), finished organizing his own studio orchestra recording exclusively with Mercury and making almost thirty discs. This album is the second youngest recorded for Mercury with a brief instrumented repertoire of music dedicated Paris.Track list:
