This is the first solo album of Demis Roussos, released in 1971 when he started his solo career, after Aphrodite's Child disbanded in 1970. The album was also released as "On the Greek side of my mind" after one of the tracks where Demis talks about Greece backed by natural sounds. One nice feature of this historical album, is the renditions of well known greek songs where the operatic Roussos' voice makes contrast to the backing bouzouki sound. Enjoy Manos Hadjidakis, Kostas Hadjis, Stamatis Spanoudakis and others in the unique Demis Roussos' way.
