Harmonium: house organ, sound produced by air, supplied by foot-operated or hand-operated bellows.

Well, who hasn’t played it some time or other. From my youth, I distinctly remember several acquaintances of our family who owned this instrument. The sounds it produces are hard to tell apart from an accordeon’s. What I remember too: nobody ever mastered the instrument sufficiently.

This is a very nice compilation of well-known Dutch composers from the past and the present. Louis Andriessen, Chiel Meijering, Roderick de Man and Martijn Padding among the latter. On Luijmes’s request, they wrote a composition specifically for this album. These are highly intriguing pieces!

Note: Before anybody is going to protest: EAC tested my drive’s writing features as having NO audio cache. Yet, the log writes: “Defeat audio cache = no”. This must be a flaw in the program’s log writing. I cannot set anything to “Defeat” which isn’t there in the first place. Therefore, it should read “Defeat audio cache = N/A” (Not Applicable).
    I repeat, my drive does-not-cache. It can’t.
No idea why this is written into the log as it is. Ask the makers of EAC, not me.
