A l’initiative d’un label français, l’essentiel du folk actuel se retrouve compilé sur ce double-CD servi dans un digipak. Une fois lu, le livret devient poster prêt à être punaisé. Seul le mur n’est pas fourni. Des filles (Marie Modiano, Brisa Roché), des valeurs sûres (Adam Green, Devendra Banhart, Belle & Sebastian), des petits nouveaux (Vandaveer, Emily Jane White) et des songwriters qu’on n’a plus besoin de présenter (Rufus Wainwright, Calc, Midlake) contribuent tous à l’excellence de ce projet ambitieux et réussi : réunir en un package séduisant en tout point ce que le folk (voire la pop très acoustique…) a de meilleur à proposer en 2008. A signaler également les participations particulièrement appréciables de Cocoon (On My Way), Girls In Hawaii (Shades Of Time) et du duo lo-fi new-yorkais The Moldy Peaches (Jorge Regula).
